Colours and Finishes for Side Hinged Garage Doors

Wisniowski (steel)

Wisniowski steel doors come in four pricing tiers, set by the finish you choose. The shape of the door (Smooth, S-Ribbed, M-Ribbed, L-Ribbed, Georgian) is independent of the colour.

1. Standard RAL palette

9 stock RAL colours included at the base price. Anthracite Grey RAL 7016, Jet Black RAL 9005, Traffic White RAL 9016, Window Grey RAL 7040, Brown RAL 8017 and four others. Smooth two-coat polyester finish, baked on the panel face.

2. Any RAL (+10%)

Any RAL Classic colour you specify, including metallic and pearl shades where RAL has a code. Adds 10% to the panel price. Lead time adds approximately 1 week.

3. Smoothgrain Laminate

45+ wood-effect laminated finishes (Golden Oak, Light Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, Anthracite Wood, Concrete Grey and many more). Available on M Rib and L Rib designs only. Smoothgrain is a textured PVC laminate over the steel; it looks like sawn timber from arm's length.

4. Sandgrain Silkline

A finer textured matt finish in the standard RAL set. Available on most ribbed designs.

5. Home Inclusive 2.0 (+£102/m²)

16 trend colours (Pebble Grey, Olive Green, Quartz Grey, Iron Blue and others) on a Sandgrain Silkline base. S, M and L Ribbed designs only. Aimed at matching modern brickwork and render.

Garador Steel

Standard finish is Traffic White RAL 9016 with a Terra Brown RAL 8028 steel chassis behind it. Choose from 9 panel designs (Georgian, Beaumont, Cathedral, Beaumont with Windows, Carlton, Ascot, Windsor, Salisbury V1, Salisbury V2).

• White finish leaves get a white chassis automatically; ebony finish leaves get a black chassis automatically

Garador Timber

Solid timber side hinged doors in 8 panel designs (Vertical, Horizontal, Kingsbury, Seymour, Tudor, Chevron, Ashton, Ashton Chevron). Choose either a stain or a factory paint.

Factory paint (+£626)

Any RAL colour, factory applied with a marine grade paint system. Recommended for exposed coastal locations or where the door faces direct south or south-west sun.

Garador GRP

Glass-reinforced polyester doors. Three models, each with their own palette.

Somerset

13 woodgrain finishes only. The deepest woodgrain texture in the GRP range.

Beaminster

13 woodgrain finishes and a contemporary smooth set: Traffic White, Anthracite Grey, Jet Black. Smooth contemporary at no extra cost vs woodgrain.

Betchworth

13 woodgrain finishes plus optional black imitation windows on the panel face.

All three models accept any RAL colour as a custom finish: +£476

Choosing in person

Colour names rarely match what the door looks like in real light. If you are between two finishes, request a physical sample swatch when you submit the quote form. Most manufacturer swatches are with you in 3-5 working days, free of charge.
